Arkel Dry-Lites

There have been a couple of posts recently about the new trike panniers I will be trying on my next overland jaunt, the 32 liter Arkel Dry-Lites. Andrew Priest asked if they were just dry bags, or actual pannier styled dry bags, so I photographed the back side, which shows the bungee cord retention system that holds the bags close and tight to the rear rack of your trike. Arkel uses heavy duty bungee cords on their GT-54 panners, but the idea is the same. Notice the metal hook at the bottom (close-up in second photo), which is what secures the bottom of the bags to your rack.
