Is this why they call them ICE trikes?

UK trike in snow Alonzo SavageHi Steve, this picture came to me from a UK trike rider who regularly rides his trike to work in winter. In this instance his machine got so clogged with snow under the cruciform that he needed to dismount and drag the trike clear. As you may note from the flag he, like us, has toured around Brittany in France. By the way I’m looking for a ‘test pilot’ to try out my side pods, we’ve made another set. Winter has not yet set in properly but just as soon snow is forecast the MTB/BMX tyres will be going on my trike.
Kind regards, Alonzo Savage

Steve that’s terrible. Hope the snow isn’t too deep round Oregan Alonzo

From one extreme to the other, it’s already hit 35ºC here and it’s not quite summer yet. If you want to send the side pods to Australia I’d be happy to test them for you. ;-)

Dave McCraw ( http://mccraw.co.uk/tag/winter/ ) made an experimental one, though it did depend on the bike getting through first !
