Rodney Thompson’s water bottle mounts

Trike Asylum reader Rodney Thompson has used the Minoura water cage mounts on his Catrike 700, using rubber inner tube material as the base, onto which he strapped the Minoura mount. This is a much better solution than the electrician’s tape I used on my 700, as Rodney’s solution stays put, whereas mine squirmed around, and the tape looked all bunched up after a few rides. Thanks for sharing Rodney! This will give others a good idea.

  1. Trike Hobo says:

    Hey Rodney,
A reader wants to know what company makes your mango colored water bottle cages. He also has a mango Catrike and wants to match the color like you did. Is it a Bontrager cage?
